History
In April 2009, while having a casual conversation with a handful of ministry and marketplace leaders, Walter Boston, Jr., was challenged to consider hosting a small and personal gathering for leaders who looked to him for guidance so that he could "Point The Way" for the coming year. Stirred in his heart by the gentle and insistent appeal and phrase "Pointing The Way" and the possible personal setting with leaders, he prayerfully agreed, and in the winter of 2010, the first Pointing The Way Gathering — with no public promotion — convened in Charlotte, North Carolina, with 43 leaders in attendance from 4 states and several cities.
The two-and-a-half-day gathering exceeded all expectations on all levels. By 2011, the word of Pointing The Way spread, and the gathering continued to grow under an appointed visionary leadership team. This team of leaders continues to provide stellar leadership that makes the gatherings possible and powerful! Attracting ministry and marketplace leaders from all over, Pointing The Way remains a causal and highly relational gathering that mentors and ministers to its attendees in a resort-like leisure atmosphere.
